Welcome to DevBhumi Yatra (the "App"), operated by MS Sphere IT Solutions ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this privacy policy, please do not access the application.
This policy applies to all users of the App, including Travelers (Customers) and Travel Partners (Drivers, Hotel Owners, and Tour Guides).
1. Information We Collect
We collect information that identifies, relates to, or could reasonably be linked to you. The type of information we collect depends on your user role (Traveler or Partner).
- Personal Information: Full name, mobile number, email address, date of birth, gender, and residential address.
- Verification Information (Partners Only): Government-issued identification numbers (e.g., Aadhaar Number), Driver's License details, vehicle registration details, and professional experience.
- Media and Files: Images you upload, including profile pictures, vehicle photos, hotel photos, and photos of verification documents (e.g., Aadhaar cards, Driver's Licenses).
- Location Data: We collect precise or approximate location data (State, District, City, Pincode) to match travelers with local drivers, guides, and hotels.
- Transaction & Bidding Data: Information related to packages booked, prices offered by drivers, and earnings.
2. App Permissions Requested
To provide our services, the App requests the following device permissions:
- Camera & Storage/Photo Library: Required to allow you to capture and upload profile pictures, vehicle/hotel images, and necessary verification documents.
- Location: Required to provide relevant local tour packages, calculate distances, and match customers with nearby drivers and services.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following business and commercial purposes:
- Providing Services: To create and manage your account, facilitate bookings between travelers and partners, and process trip package bids.
- Safety and Verification: To verify the identity of our Drivers, Guides, and Hotel Owners to maintain a secure and trustworthy marketplace.
- Communication: To send you booking confirmations, updates, OTPs for login, and customer support messages.
- App Improvement: To analyze usage trends, troubleshoot technical issues, and improve the App's functionality.
4. How We Share Your Information
DevBhumi Yatra is a two-sided marketplace. To facilitate bookings, we must share certain information between users:
- Between Users: If you are a Traveler booking a service, your name and contact details will be shared with the relevant Driver, Guide, or Hotel. If you are a Partner, your profile name, rating, vehicle/hotel details, and offered prices will be visible to Travelers.
- Service Providers: We may share data with third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as SMS routing (for OTPs) and cloud hosting.
- Legal Compliance: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or government agency).
5. Data Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us (such as encrypting data in transit), please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services.
- Account Deletion: You have the right to request the deletion of your account and associated personal data.
- Web Request: You may request data deletion by contacting us at support@mssphere.com.
- Note: Upon deletion, we may retain certain transactional data or verification records as required by law or for legitimate business safety purposes.
7. Children's Privacy
Our App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of consent in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child, we will take steps to delete that information securely.
